Elf on the Shelf North Pole Breakfast

Welcome back your Scout Elf with a North Pole Breakfast using this set of festive free printables and easy breakfast ideas!

Elf on the Shelf North Pole Breakfast Party

It’s getting close to Christmastime and our little Scout Elf friends from the iconic Elf on the Shelf tradition are starting to return to our homes during Scout Elf Return Week! Last Friday we threw an Elf on the Shelf North Pole Breakfast to welcome back our jolly friend.

Seeing the delight on my son’s face when he came out of his bedroom that morning will stay with me for a long time. The pure excitement and curiosity is worth all of the prep time it took to put this breakfast together.

But actually, it really took no time at all, and I’m sharing all of the steps in an easy-to-download party plan, including direct links to the products I used, so that you can whip up your North Pole Breakfast in no time.

Don’t worry, even if it’s after the official “return week,” you can still throw an Elf on the Shelf North Pole Breakfast to delight your little ones and welcome your Elf back for the holiday season.

Setting the North Pole Breakfast Table

Elf on the Shelf North Pole Breakfast

It’s no surprise that I love setting fun tablescapes, such as my Festive Fall Tablescape and my Lucky You! St. Patrick’s Day Table.

No matter the holiday or if it’s simply an ordinary day, setting a beautiful table for a family meal can take it from drab to fab in no time.

Once you find your table style, it’s pretty easy to recreate many different looks following the same principles.

Once again I went to my go-to source for holiday decorations, Oriental Trading, who have a ton of cute options to choose from.

I had a blast picking out all of the items to make this party come to life and I’m sharing everything you need to create this festive table in the list below.

Supplies for your Elf on the Shelf North Pole Breakfast:

Set Your Table

Start with your centerpiece. I put our elf, Mr. Jingles, front and center on a small cake stand and surrounded him with jingle bells and sisal trees.

Then I placed the signs and the Elf on the Shelf story around him, with some more trees.

You can add the name of your Elf to this “I’m Back!” Sign. It reads:

“I’ve missed you this year but I’ve returned from the North Pole for more holiday cheer. Santa sent me again to be his eyes and his ears. Every night I will fly to give Santa advice, whether you were naughty that day or wonderfully nice. Each day with a new visit, a new hiding place is where I’ll be. Make sure not to touch me, or my magic will surely flee!”

Oriental Trading has the cutest plates, napkins, and cups to set your table.

I loved how the utensils looked with the little plush elves hugging them. So cute!

Add some pizzazz to each place setting with bells and a straw topper in an Elf Shot Glass. My kids loved sipping their milk and juice from these sweet Reindeer and Santa cups.

You can decorate other areas of your home too!

The Peppermint swirl decorations, adorably wrapped in cellophane to mimic the real candy, are great to hang on walls or from a chandelier with the printable banner.

North Pole Breakfast Food

We kept it easy with donuts, croissants, pumpkin pancakes, bacon, and fresh fruit.

Creating a little donut tower is a nice touch — I love the “snow caps” with the powdered donuts.

Finally, to wash it all down, some “Melted Snow.” You could serve some hot cocoa too.

Once your table is set and the food is ready, sit down and enjoy a festive breakfast with your little ones. Enjoy!
